Act II was full of excitement and parts of the story that left you on the edge of your seat wanting more. The second act started with a lot of drama when Dr. Rank comes to see Nora. Now at this point in the story we didn't expect that Nora and Rank were anything more than friends, but we soon learned other wise. Nora acted as if her and Helmer were not even married by showing Dr.Rank her outfit for the dance which left Dr. Rank wanting more. He jauntily said "what other pretty things do you have to show me?" (Ibsen pg 193) This and when Rank confessed his love for her eliminated all plans of Nora asking to borrow money from him.
With out Nora getting the money from Rank that ultimately lead to Krogstad sending Helmer the letter explaining everything. Nora's last option was to try and have Mrs. Linde convince Krogstad to ask for his letter back. At this point the out come of the story depend on what mrs. Linder says and does and both the reader and Nora know that. Earlier krogstad said to Nora "you forget that then your reputation would be in my hands" (Ibsen pg 200) we also soon learn that Nora is considering the intolerable act of committing suicide. At this point the story lays in Kristina hands.

My jaw dropped this act. The excitement made me want to jump out of my seat! Like why would Nora want to even think about commuting suicide? Also I think this blog was good, because the quotes support your post.
Very exciting! I am surprise that she tried getting money from Dr Rank. Can't wait for act 3 to see what happens! You're right, it falls in Mrs line's hands.
I agree with u Nora and dr rank do have something going on
Good blog mark. I was also shocked with Noras' decision to commit suicide. Keep up the good work :)
